I often get emails from some of you guys asking if they is really way to cure acne. I just thought to consolidate some of the information for you guys here and you are welcome to chip in with your tips. I think this will turn out as a great post. My take on this is that sometimes you cant get rid of acne just like that because the problem lies within the hormones or genetics, but you can definitely help control it. some helpful tips would be
- Cleansing your skin twice 2 times a day with a good daily cleanser that contains salicylic acid and or is an antibacterial soap.
- If you cleanse your skin with a scrub be careful! scrubs can actually transfer bacteria across the skin and cause more acne.
- after cleansing the skin follow with a good oil free moisturizer that is light weight.
- don’t touch your skin or pick your pimples

Do you guys know that egg masks can really help with dryness and after blemishes secondly, they make the skin feel clean but tight after use.
Problem is there are two different egg masks,
1. using the white
2. Using the egg yolk.
I want the one that helps with dryness and healing, so which one should I use?

Hey Jane, nice post. For me personally, i dont have severe acne, but i know for a fact that honey can be added as acne remedy too.

Use unboiled milk and apply on acne affected areas for one to two hours. This works as a magic. Pimples will be gone even sometimes without leaving a mark.

Okay i have a good one!
Apply a paste of fresh fenugreek which we call methi here in India. Place (methi) leaves in water over the face every night and wash with warm water in the morning to prevent pimples, blackheads, whiteheads, dryness, and wrinkles and yes of course acne.
another nice one….
I am on a roll today
1. Blend a paste by mixing honey and cinnamon powder.
2. Apply this paste on the pimples before sleeping
3. Wash it next morning with warm water.
Repeat for two weeks and your acne will die and getaway forever and ever and ever .. YAY!

I want to share the one that worked for me when I got mild acne. My Step by Step Acne Treatment Plan
Step 1 - Mix plain yogurt and oatmeal to a make a thick paste.
Step 2 - apply and leave to dry.
Step 3 - Wash the face with lukewarm water and pat dry.
Step 4 - Apply any antibiotic lotion depending on the skin type.
